The Other Half
04:35
|

It's obvious now faced with our mistake conclusions were drawn decisions were made the answer
we seek is ten minutes to late so close your eyes and hope for our sake the we're in this to deep
that struggling may be the the freedom we long for and can’t seem to shake the call that keeps
us from throwing it in the resentment of having it all I don’t want it cause your comfort it chills me
to the bone and my time is so awkward its getting on lets pretend for a minute I take on this facade
of putting on costumes and dancing their dance safe from the razor blade we chase observe from
the safety of one way mirrors not to be touched by the abrasions of failure the walls that keep you
from feeling the cold keep us from felling at all
I don’t want it cause your comfort it chills me to the
bone and my timing is so awkward its getting on I’d rather feel every nail dig in then the addiction that comes with your sedative
Numb to the touch deaf to the voice closed to chance of anything
more senses are frail the banks are still holding the water the banks are still holding the water

Blue Skies
04:32
|

After all the things i've done, looking out for number one. i'd take it all back if i only could, my self destruction is the one thing i have never understood blue sky sailing here today, you know you made me feel like a kid again.
Will you be the one to save this soul a lonely boy doused in alcohol, so they say you can never go home.
After all the things i've been you know they were never really me i'd take it back and i probably should myself destruction means i've never been, yeah i've never been any good
Blue sky sailing here today, you know you made me feel like a kid again. will you be the one to save this soul a lonely boy doused in alcohol, so they say you can never go home. blue sky sailing here today, all i ever wanted was to feel like a kid again will you be the one to save this soul, a lonely boy doused in alcohol.
So they say you can never go........
so they say you can never go home

This House Ain't A Home
03:14

I wanted to release to show integrity (but my mind won’t let me) I wanted to ease up relive hostility
(but this pressures building) it’s the wrong side of hate to catch yourself feeling I wanted everything
and it’s me that’s failing in digging in my heals when I should turn a leaf (cause this page is tiring)
narrow minds will bread an awkward place to be (and I can’t help feeling) it’s the wrong side of hate to be
contemplating I wanted everything and it’s me that’s failing I hesitate (when I should be speaking) if this is give and take (why can I not see it)
I’m being coy cause I don’t know a better way if there's a
point than it’s a point I should have made and though the words are running endless through my
brain I’m always speechless when it’s time for me to say
it’s catching up on me and I’m not meaning
to sound so conceded

Voice Of Reason
03:55
|
|||
Hold on to your honest conviction its humbling to watch hold on to your reason as it flows through
your veins and we'll follow it through all the unoccupiable lows don’t doubt your effect don’t doubt your
approach you give yourself credit for so much less than you're owed
Because you despite of everything
pick me up brush me off when I’m despising everything you're the voice of reason
you give till you're
short you give till you're owed you take all my humble attempts to indulge you and trade them for gold
you watch ideas come you watch ideas go I’m easily torn and often distracted you help me resolve
From humble beginnings a cautious approach from strings getting tangled and drowning us both
you read into what mattered the most and kept us afloat times that we've struggled you kept your
composure and I can be difficult far beyond fault but the further we're pushed the closer that we get
and know

Waiting In Line
05:06
|
|||
From the day we are born we've been waiting in line forced to work in their jobs just to buy us some time and the weight on the soul at the edge of the world carries a debt that nobody should owe for most of my life i've been shackled in chains on the edge of a knife when you need someone to blame watch the years go by with the drunks and the smoke try and make your escape down that old and broken road
We're not gods we are whores trampled on palace floors walk with me we'll light this night turn the wrong to something right
For most of our lives we've been running away like the sea from the shore like the night from the day but all is not lost there's a light of a sort it's coming in clear through the fog and the smoke from the day you we're born you've been waiting in line forced to hold on real tight or get lost with the tide and the weight on the soul at the edge of the world carries a debt that is so hard to hold
We're not gods we are whores trampled on palace floors walk with me
we'll light this night turn the wrong to something right....something right

Thanks For The Memories
02:32
|
|||
There were times times when i needed needed you there someone beside me someone who cared Now I can be alone These feelings
might be the answer to the question When asked how I feel when asked how I feel Now I can be alone
I bet you wont I bet you wont sing when I'm down You'll run just as fast as you can as fast as you can Right across town
Pretend to be happy Just for you Keep it a secret and say its not true I'll pretend that i'm happy for us two. and I'm trying to remember the words that you said Because lately my darling I hate you instead What am I going to do with me and you

Freddy Fudd Naked Again
03:45
|
|||
We are the cause we are the consequence save but fate we make our own rules responsible for if we land on our feet if this cup is half full then I’m going to drink it to know
Forget what we're sold I miss the taste of owning nothing nothing we hold nothing to lose we're
free to come we're free to go as we chose to be
our discomfort not but a passing thought for the moment we stall could be something to live for
let’s embrace the subtleties of living light and reflect not to relive but to relate
time oh time wages war on me I’ll waste no sleep worrying how I should be perceived as it dawns
on me I’m not who I used to be aware and restless

Something To Hold
04:37
|
|||
So let's all raise a glass To the prisons of the past
The time we take we take it all shacked right here
as we fall Angels Fall above me, Show me where to go The Time that I have known you means nothing now at all The shadows that i've cast on a life lived at half mast I tried so hard but you couldn't see Just how much you meant to me Angels fall above you Show
you where to go The Time that I have loved you Means nothing now at all Angels fall above us Show us where to go The Memories between us are something you can hold Will angels fall above I hope Angels
fall above you I know angels fall above you Show
you where to go

The weight of living large To tough to stand alone When i find some words of reason No one could be at home Walking around and around Blank circles in my mind But through it all I could have been, I may have been so sick from thinking to remember I found something funny Lost some friends along the way And it could hurt not to remember My ears ringing from what i heard somebody say Time is wearing thin so get on with your life Your not fifteen anymore No more sunny days for you seeing things pissing on walls how many times can i recall so sick of drinking through December I found something funny Lost some friends along the way And it could hurt not to remember My ears ringing from what i heard somebody say

I tried to wash it off I tried to wash it off I couldn't get clean
I couldn't get clean You tried to wash me off you tried to wash me off and now you are free now you are free I watched you sail away from a bed of nails You are gone..... but I've got this song. There's a time to stand There's a time to fall There's a time when you can't move at all So we carry on living in disguise as another year drowns before our eyes From sea to shining sea you'll always be a part of me, Over oceans we are free, under water we can't breathe And I see you now and it's not the same And all we have is that time and place When I carried you and you carried me Before regret was every part of me From sea to Shining sea you'll always be a part of me Over oceans we are Free Under water we can't breathe How can the sun feel so cold How can I feel so old
How can The sun feel so cold How can I feel so old
